Warm greeting and local information offered by the host. Key locations such as St Abbs Head and Bamburgh Castle were lovely to visit. the cottage had all the necessary amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.

The cleanliness of the cottage left something to be desired, with dirty cutlery and pots. the small sink in the upstairs toilet was also impractical and problematic for basic tasks like brushing teeth.

The location was ideal for our girly weekend away, with everything we needed close by. the decor and period features added a charming and quirky touch to the cottage. It was also exceptionally clean and had all the amenities we could ever need. Plus, Jacqui went above and beyond by decorating the place for our daughter's 18th birthday and even leaving a bottle of Prosecco. We can't wait to come back!

Felt right at home, no complaints whatsoever.

The host greeted us warmly and even left a special treat for our daughter. She gave us plenty of local information and made herself available throughout our stay. The cottage was beautiful and clean, with quaint and quirky period features. We loved the convenient location, as it was close to St Abbs Head, Bamburgh Castle, and Berwick itself. we enjoyed trying out the local delicacies such as Craster kippers and Auchtermuchty, a haggis and bacon blend.

The sink in the upstairs toilet was very small and posed a challenge when cleaning our teeth. The WiFi didn't work initially, but the owner was responsive and tried to fix it.

The location was ideal for our girly weekend, close to all the attractions we wanted to visit.
